I’m Ester, founder of AnchorPoint Coaching and Consultancy. My background spans international aviation, government, and 25 years of church leadership — including building Cathay Pacific’s Care Team, an international volunteer humanitarian response program of 1,800 people supporting families during aviation emergencies.
That experience taught me something I’ve carried into every organisation I’ve worked with since: the gap between what leadership intends and what people are actually experiencing is almost always what’s getting in the way. Closing that gap — through genuine listening, honest reflection, and helping leaders bring their teams with them — is the work I’m built for.
In a church context, that means walking alongside leadership teams at the point where the vision God has placed on the church isn’t yet fully alive in the people living it out day to day. I work in the human and cultural layer — the messy middle where vision meets reality, where unspoken tensions quietly slow momentum, and where the right conversation at the right moment can change everything.
I partner with Parables Place to bring that work into the Church’s Operation space.
